Not Just A Hearer...

"Christ as a Gift nourishes your faith and makes you a Christian; but Christ as an Example exercises your works. These do not make you a Christian but are performed by you, who have previously been made a Christian.  Christ is set before us and given to us as an example and pattern which we are to follow.  For when we possess Christ through faith as a free gift, we should go on and do as He has done for us
 and imitate Him in our entire life and sufferings."
